Magoya Films and Todo Cine developing fiction series Somos Novios based on a successful podcast

Magoya Films by Fernando Molnar and Sebastián Schindel (El Patrón, Radiografía de un crimen, Crímenes de Familia, Lie to Me) and Todo Cine by María Victoria Menis (El Cielito, La Camera Oscura, Incómodos, Eléctrica) present the new fiction series project Somos Novios, based on the successful Spotify original fiction podcast created by Esteban Menis and Flor Halfon, produced by POSTA FM.

One of the first adaptations in Spanish of a fiction podcast into an audiovisual series. With a first-class cast, including Julieta Zylberberg and Benjamin Amadeo, and directed by the renowned Daniel Barone,

The series explores a love relationship from its peak to its possible end, focusing on Santi and Lola, who celebrate two years together. Time, projects, doubts, parental pressures, jealousy, and decisions and their consequences are intertwined in a fascinating and complex universe that will put this couple to the test in each episode. Somos Novios creates three-dimensional and realistic characters, with dialogues and genuine expressions that happen in everyday life.

With 10 20-minute episodes, Somos Novios is in the project development stage and is looking for strategic partners for the production of its first season.

This innovative series promises to be an exciting and unique bet on the audiovisual scene, as it is an adaptation of an original fiction podcast in Spanish.
