Quintus Media sells the second season of Behind Bars to Discovery Latin America

The distribution company Quintus Media sold the licenses of the second season of the documentary series on jails Behind Bars: World’s Toughest Prisons (6×60’), to Discovery Latin America, Hispanic, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Andorra, as well as to A+E Networks United Kingdom for their History channels.

“The popularity of Behind Bars reflects the interest and appetite for attractive content. With its current global success, we are thrilled that the second season is proving to be a great hit and hope to conquer even more territories,” commented Gerrit Kemming, general director of Quintus Media.

In this season, Behind Bars: World’s Toughest Prisons visits other six of the most infamous and deadly prisons, located in Ukraine, Colombia, Mexico, the Philippines, and Armenia.

The first season of this series is produced by the independent German television production company Maximus Film.
