RCN Total Surpasses 1.1 Million Downloads and Doubles its Consumption in One Year

RCN Total, RCN’s international streaming platform, surpassed 1.1 million downloads as of August 2026. The figure adds up all operating systems and the main connected TV applications.

Consumption continues to grow. In August the app logged more than 300 thousand hours viewed: 110% more than in September 2025 and 14% more than in July. Over the last 12 months it has accumulated more than 2.18 million hours. In that same period, monthly active users grew 67% and average session duration went from 17 to 21 minutes.

“RCN Total is constantly growing in traffic, hours of consumption, active users and subscribers,” says Julián Giraldo, VP of International Channels at RCN.

The catalog brings together more than 10 thousand hours of RCN telenovelas, series, movies and entertainment, and combines free and premium content. Every month, the platform is stocked with new telenovelas and movies from different libraries that already exceed 300.

By country, the U.S. accounts for 41% of consumption, followed by Spain (14%), Venezuela (12%) and Mexico (7%). On Google Play the app has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 with more than 2,160 reviews.

RCN Noticias and RCN Más added 1.24 million hours viewed in August, 45% more than in September 2025, and more than 15 million hours over the last 12 months.

RCN Noticias nearly doubled its audience (+96% year over year and +25% versus July) and reached 675,790 hours.
