RTVE present in Mipcom 2019

RTVE presented the catalog they will be taking to the upcoming edition of Mipcom 2019, to be held in Cannes between October 14 and 17. The main bets of the company are the fiction programs Malaka, Promesas de Arena, and Mercado Central.

Malaka is a police thriller that revolves around the disappearance of the daughter of an important businessman from Malaga and the emergence of a new drug that threatens with breaking the existing balance between two rival drug clans.

For its part, Promesas de Arena is a story of love and friendship taken to the limit. It presents the tough reality of suffering, good intentions, and weapon trafficking that Lucía—a cooperator of an NGO who arrives at a refugee camp in a city in Libya—will have to face.

Mercado Central is another of the launches they will have. A daily series that presents the work, personal, and sentimental relations of people who work and live in the context of a market in the big city.

RTVE will also be presenting a broad catalog of contents which they have already offered in other markets such as Estoy Vivo, La Otra Mirada, Acacias 38, Seis Hermanas, Servir y Proteger, among others, along with their portforlio of international channels, such as TVE Internacional, Clan, Playz, etc.
