Musipaches (Rockoons)
Semillitas has licensed the popular series Musipaches (Rockoons) from Fairlight Distribution LTD, which will premiere it in October.
The animation is in High Definition, and the channel includes Closed Captions and Audio Description for children who need them. This commitment earned it the Outstanding Achievement: Spanish Media Award from the American Council of the Blind.
The Musipaches series follows a delightful group of raccoons—Doka, Re, Mimi, Lala, Faf, Sisi, and Soh—who live inside a magical music box. These friendly raccoons love to explore, play games, dance, and sing. Each character has a unique personality and talent that children can easily relate to. What unites them all is their love for music and songs.
Musipaches uses colorful, stylized 2D digital animation specially designed to appeal to preschool-aged kids. The characters have soft shapes, engaging expressions, and smooth movements that follow the rhythm of songs and rhymes. A key goal of the series is to develop and enrich vocabulary through diverse language techniques. The raccoons are curious—anything new must be investigated! Even familiar objects take on new meanings and uses in their clever little paws. In each episode, the raccoons introduce different musical numbers using creatively repurposed items. The playful lyrics spark children’s imagination.
