T-Mobile and National Park Foundation Launch “Do Not Disturb Season” to Encourage Outdoor Connection

17 de abril de 2026

From April 14 through May 8, participants can sign up for Do Not Disturb Season for a chance to win

This summer, the most important status is the one that says: “Do Not Disturb.” T-Mobile and the National Park Foundation (NPF) announced the first-ever Do Not Disturb Season—a nationwide invitation to silence everyday distractions and spend more time connecting in person amid the majesty of U.S. national parks—without missing the moments that matter most.

Whether it’s silencing email notifications while hiking scenic trails or making a video call with family from a mountaintop, T-Mobile’s network is built to be there when and where customers need it. Powered by the nation’s largest and fastest 5G network, and enhanced with T-Satellite connectivity, T-Mobile gives customers the peace of mind to switch on Do Not Disturb mode and explore on their own terms.

To bring the spirit of Do Not Disturb Season to life, T-Mobile will give everyone—even non-T-Mobile customers—the chance to enjoy a “On Us” Great Adventure in national parks. Starting today through May 8, nature lovers can enter online or at participating retail stores nationwide for a chance to win.

And because protecting these natural and cultural landscapes is just as important as exploring them, T-Mobile is committing to donate up to $1 million to the National Park Foundation. As the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, the NPF works to preserve the country’s national parks for present and future generations.

“Our customers take their phones just about everywhere—including some of the most remote places in the country,” said Mike Katz, President of Marketing, Strategy and Products at T-Mobile. “Connecting people in those places is exactly what our network is built for. Do Not Disturb Season encourages people to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend more time outdoors, knowing their network is ready for wherever they want to go—from the trailhead to the summit.”

A Great “On Us” National Parks Adventure

Bringing the Parks to Grand Central Station
More than 320 million people visit the nation’s national parks each year, drawn by wide-open spaces that offer a break from everyday noise. To bring that feeling to the heart of New York City, T-Mobile and the National Park Foundation will launch the first-ever Magenta Base Camp at Grand Central Terminal.

From April 14–18, commuters can step into park-inspired landscapes in the middle of Manhattan—swapping marble floors for trail paths. The Magenta Base Camp will feature immersive installations capturing the sights and sounds of these iconic destinations, offering a brief escape from the city’s fast pace while showcasing how T-Mobile empowers people to explore on their own terms.

Visitors during those dates will also have the opportunity to enter the On Us Adventure sweepstakes

Whether it’s mapping a last-minute route on AllTrails with coverage that goes beyond traditional cell towers, checking the weather before heading out, or video calling family from a mountaintop, the experience highlights how T-Mobile’s 5G network and satellite connectivity help make meaningful moments possible—even in remote places.

“The nation’s national parks offer inspiration that no screen can replicate,” said Chad Jones, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the National Park Foundation. “With T-Mobile’s support, we’re not only helping more people reach these parks—we’re encouraging them to truly be present once they arrive, so they feel inspired to help protect these treasured places.”

Magenta Base Camp will be open to the public on Tuesday, April 14 from 3–7 p.m. ET, and from Wednesday, April 15 through Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
