After the end of the first class of the Telemundo Global Studios (TGS) Fellowship, the plans are to continue investing in talent development. “Due to the pandemic, we are evaluating time frames to be able to offer the next generation of Fellows the best experience. Regarding other disciplines, investment, indeed, goes beyond production. We will continue investing in talent for different areas (development, talent, direction, and more),” commented Carolina Christ, VP of Production Operations at TGS.

She added that after the conclusion of this first TGS Fellowship, the company made work offers to some of the graduates. “They will accompany us in upcoming productions with a specific role (details we prefer not to disclose due to strategic reasons),” she said.

Christ mentioned that the first Fellows were able to work on the creative and execution process of projects in Mexico, Colombia, Miami, and Argentina. “This was a great experience, in which not only did we continue investing in the abilities the Fellows brought, as potential producers, but we found and supported the exploration of other abilities and similarities with areas beyond production, such as Operations, Development, and Director’s Assistant,” she explained.
