Televisa: We are about to launch the new Televisa.com

For Ricardo Carvajal, general director of Televisa, content curation has been an essential part of their strategy. With an amazing film library, and understanding the importance video has in the new digital reality, he and his team have taken content distribution a notch higher. For April they are preparing the launch of the new Televisa.com as part of a renovation that began last year.

“The goal is to break the barrier of web pages or TV screens. We are exhibited wherever we are. We understand that contents flow, they are free and strategy is aimed there, not only on being generators, but great distributors of that content,” he stated.

Along deploying their contents on screen, they have done an important job selecting the material, always seeking to be aligned with the interests of their audience. And it has delivered results: On their platforms, 20 million videos are watched monthly, their streaming reaches 2 million unique users per month with an average of 100 minutes seen and 900 million YouTube reproductions every month.

In a first phase of Televisa.com’s renovation, users will find the connections they are interested in, with the diverse properties Televisa has, using technology and design thought for mobile. Meanwhile, data intelligence will be a star in the second stage and users will be offered exactly what they are looking for.
