UniMás to premiere Caracol Televisions Fugitivos and Telemundo Globos Avenida Brasil on Monday April 6th

UniMás debuts Fugitivos on Monday April 6th at 9pm ET/PT (8pm CT). A production of Caracol Television premiering for the first time in the U.S., Fugitivos cast includes Emmanuel Esparza, Taliana Vargas, Laura Osma, Christian Tappan, María José Martínez, Laura Osma Marcela Agudelo, Alex Letón and Mario Jurado.The drama begins with Julián (Esparza), under arrest for the murder of his best friends wife. Found at the scene of the crime, Julián is convicted and sentenced to 26 years in prison. Abandoned by his own wife, who doubts his innocence and keeps their young son from him, Julián finds love with fellow prisoner Esperanza (Vargas). They eventually attempt an escape, but Esperanza is recaptured while Julián succeeds. Once a fugitive, Juliáns first order of business is to make contact with Esperanzas daughter, Micaela (Laura Osma). Telemundo announces the premiere of the global hit telenovela Avenida Brasil, on Monday, April 6 at 8pm/7c. With an international cast featuring Débora Falabella, Murilo Benício, Adriana Esteves, Marcello Novaes and Cauã Reymond, Globo´s Avenida Brasil has captivated millions of viewers around the world, airing in more than 130 countries and 17 languages.Based on an original story by João Emanuel Carneiro, the Globo TV production tells the story of Rita, a young girl who is orphaned by her stepmothers greed and left to fend for herself at a garbage dump. There, Rita meets the boy who will become the love of her life, but they are separated when each is adopted by a different family and given new names. Neither imagines that fate will bring them back together, when years later Rita becomes a servant in the household of her stepmother and unexpectedly re-encounters her lost love.
