Univision News names María Antonieta Collins as senior special correspondent

Univision Communications Inc. announced that journalist María Antonieta Collins has joined Univision News as senior special correspondent. Collins will be based in Miami and will report for the division’s network news shows including Noticiero Univisión evening, late evening and weekend editions, and newsmagazine program Aquí y Ahora (Here and Now), in addition to covering special assignments. “María Antonieta’s exceptional journalistic career and her rapport with audiences will be instrumental with bringing important stories home to our community. Collins has a 37-year journalism career spanning television, radio and print media.
