Univision Sacramento promoted Viviana Páez as executive producer

Univision´s Viviana Páez has been promoted to executive producer in addition to her role as News Anchor for Univision Sacramento KUVS-19. In this role, she will oversee all editorial aspects of Univision Sacramento, become a brand ambassador, and will also serve as a digital contributor and bridge between the department’s content and digital platforms.

Páez has been with Univision since 2007. She began her trajectory with Univision Miami and later for Univision Albuquerque prior to landing her Anchor role for Univision Sacramento. Viviana’s work has been honored with 16 Emmy Awards recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Northern California Chapter.

Her most recent Emmy award was granted to a news special program about Covid-19, where Paez discovered a lack of Covid-19 testing in agricultural fields leaving farmworkers vulnerable to coronavirus.
