ViendoMovies celebrates Latinos en Hollywood

ViendoMovies will pay homage to 5 Hispanic-American actors who have achieved fame and recognition in Hollywood through their successes on the big screen.
Every Sunday night durig the month of June, ViendoMovies will present Latinos in Hollywood, a movie cycle that shows performances by the actors Javier Barden, Penélope Cruz, Demian Bichir, Jordi Mollà and John Leguizamo.
Starting on June 2nd, the channel presents Huevos de Oro. This dramatic comedy tells the story of Benito González (Javier Barden), an ambitious man who wants to accomplish two dreams: marry the woman he loves and build a great skyscraper.
On Sunday June 9th, the cycle continues with Penélope Cruz starring Ma Ma. The film was awarded with 14 nominations in eight film festivals (including the Goya Awards) and winner of the Fotogramas de Plata Award and Platinum Awards for best actress. Cruz personifies Magda, an unemployed teacher who is diagnosed with breast cancer.
On Sunday June 16th Demián Bichir stars in Muerte en Buenos Aires, a film full of drama that highlights the homosexuality of the 80s in Buenos Aires.
To conclude, on Sunday 30th ViendoMovies presents John Leguizamo in the film Crónicas, winner of an Ariel Award and nominated 6 times in different Festivals. Manolo Bonilla (Leguizamo) is an ambitious journalist with a Hispanic program in Miami. Looking for a story that raises the ratings, Bonilla travels to a town in Ecuador to investigate a children’s serial killer known as The Monster of Babahoyo.
