ViendoMovies presents a June programming lineup that combines premieres, a Latin talent showcase, and celebrations of key festivities for the Latino community in the United States and Puerto Rico. This month, the channel is premiering outstanding films, along with special programming for Father’s Day and a film cycle dedicated to renowned Spanish actor Roberto Álamo, offering an exciting selection for the channel’s audience.
June premieres begin with Te Estoy Amando Locamente (Spain, 2023), an LGBT dramedy starring Omar Banana, Ana Wagener, and Alba Flores, set in Seville in 1977. Following this is the comedy El Quinceañero de mi Abuela (U.S.A., 2025), starring Mónica Pastrana, Johanna Rosaly, Linette Torres, and Jorge Luis Ramos. It tells the story of a 37-year-old woman who, after losing her job, decides to organize the quinceañera party her grandmother never had.
Olvido (Spain, 2023) is a drama starring María Caballero, Morgan Blasco, and Javier Butler, set in Valencia during October 1957—the year of the great flood.
June also features a special film cycle dedicated to acclaimed Spanish actor Roberto Álamo, airing Sundays at 9PM. With over 40 films, along with television series and theater productions, Álamo has earned numerous recognitions, including Goya, Feroz, and the Actors Union awards. The cycle includes Es por tu bien (comedy, 2017), Josefina (drama, 2021), En Zona Hostil (action, 2017), La Gran Familia Española (comedy, 2012), and Que Dios nos Perdone (crime thriller, 2016). This selection highlights Roberto Álamo’s range and versatility, solidifying his stature in Spanish-language cinema.
Beyond these regular high-quality programming events, ViendoMovies also celebrates Father’s Day on June 15 with a full day of curated films honoring an essential and beloved figure in Latino families.
