VIVOpago is a disruptive element for monetization

Difficulties in many cases become opportunities. Regional deficiencies regarding bankarization and possession of credit cards to subscribe to premium content provider systems gave way to the creation of VIVOpago, a disruptive element that promotes the use of cryptocurrency in a direct relationship between the advertiser and the final consumer.

Carlos Hulett, CEO of VIVOplay, and forerunner of this new system participated as a panelist in the forumChallenges of Live Streaming, and later commented that “with VIVOpago a new commercialization mechanism is established because the platform is based on cryptocurrency that the final users wins by watching advertisements on demand”.

He added that “this is what used to happen, but with the necessary evolution. In other words, the advertiser pays for someone to watch their advertisements, but this time, the user —by registering on the platform— indicates his likes and interests, so he will see commercials he has affinity with, and at the same time the advertiser will pay the user directly and just for each commercial he watched. There is no possible waste”.

The development is already finished and is in the test phase, as well as in the process of negotiation with several premium content and telecommunications providers, to soon be launched in the market.
