The W7F London Edition brought together elite clubs and some of the biggest stars in women’s football for three days

Founders Agency partnered with World Sevens Football (W7F) for its third global tournament last weekend in London, leading the social strategy, content creation, creative direction, and real-time coverage for one of the fastest-growing tournaments in women’s sports.

The vision behind World Sevens Football is centered on advancing the women’s game by creating a platform where elite athletes can showcase their talent, build deeper connections with fans, and access opportunities that reflect the growing value of women’s football.

Held at Brentford FC’s Gtech Community Stadium, the W7F London Edition brought together elite clubs and some of the biggest stars in women’s football for three days of high-intensity competition. Throughout the tournament, Founders worked alongside W7F to capture and amplify the energy, personalities, and world-class performances that turned the event into a landmark moment for women’s football.

The results spoke for themselves: the tournament delivered record-breaking attendance, engagement, audience growth, and social media performance. With a sold-out final and a weekend that generated 135K engagements and 1.6 million TikTok views, the London Edition demonstrated what is possible when the world’s best athletes are given the stage they deserve to showcase their talent.

With elite clubs, global stars, and a format designed for modern audiences, World Sevens Football is helping redefine how women’s football is experienced, consumed, and celebrated around the world.

Chelsea won the 2026 World Sevens London Series, earning a $500,000 prize after a 6–5 victory over Manchester United. Runners-up Manchester United received $250,000.
