The series Enterate con Verizon celebrates the Latino community

Enterate con Verizon is a platform that celebrates diversity and the Latino community. The project presents stories of interest to Hispanics while highlighting employees who belong to that community and are key to the company’s progress. “The episodes tell all about what goes on in and around Verizon from a latinx point of view, while informing Hispanic employees and clients as to the corporate initiatives, promotions and associations that have allowed Verizon to interact with that segment in a culturally relevant way” Ana Rosella Ibarra, Corporate Comms Manager at Verizon and one of the creators of the Enterate con Verizon explained. The series is bilingual and airs twice monthly with a video format of 10 to 15 minutes per episode. Its presenter is the former news correspondent, co-creator of the concept, winning journalist of the Peabody Award and member of the Verizon team, Diana Alvear.Up to now the series has aired three episodes, the latest dealing with financial education and the power of the Spanish language had as a special guest the television presenter, podcaster and specialist in those matters, Marco Antonio Regil.
