Alejandro Veciana, Senior Manager of International Distribution at FilmRise, highlighted that the British series Prime Suspect (titled El Principal Sospechoso in Spanish), starring Helen Mirren, is part of their catalog being presented at MIP Cancun. He expressed confidence that the series, now dubbed in Spanish, “will perform very well in the FAST ecosystem and Latin America.”
Prime Suspect, produced by ITV and spanning seven seasons, “features a strong female lead, and we’ve spoken to our clients who are eager to launch it in Latin America,” Veciana added.
“At FilmRise, we have many years of experience identifying IP that is undervalued in the market.
