Daisy Expósito-Ulla receives the ADCOLOR Lifetime Achievement Award with a powerful speech

When accepting on Wednesday September 21th the ADCOLOR award in recognition for her career, Daisy Expósito-Ulla elicited applauses from the attendees and invited them to reflect: “Take a look around this auditorium and ask yourselves together with me if in your agencies -and mainly among your clients- there is a level of ethnic diversity similar to the one we see here tonight.”The 10th Annual Gala, within the ADCOLOR conference, gathered hundreds of advertisers, marketers and brand representatives, that each year honors personalities and the most outstanding work among Afro-Americans, Asians, North Americans, Hispanic-Latinos and LGBT. Expósito-Ulla, Chairman at d expósito & Partners, received the ADCOLOR Lifetime Achievement Award, together with the Asian-American Bill Imada, Chairman at IW Group, and the Afro American J. Melvin Muse, Chairman at MUSE. “We are thrilled to honor Daisy for her numerous professional achievements and for an exceptional career in which she has helped generations and her community” mentioned Tiffany R. Warren, Founder and President at ADCOLOR. “You have wings of diversity” stressed Expósito-Ulla, addressing the younger ones in the audience. “Those are the most multi-colored wings and the ones that resist the strongest winds: don’t be afraid to fly” she concluded.
