Allan Navarrete was appointed general manager of The Walt Disney Company Mexico

Allan Navarrete, former Discovery, was appointed general manager of The Walt Disney Company Mexico. He will be responsible for the local administration of the businesses of the organization of International Content & Operations of The Walt Disney Company, reporting directly to Diego Lerner, president of the company in Latam, and will work closely and in partnership with the local Consumer Products Games and Publishing team.

Navarrete joins the company to lead and guide the leaders responsible for carrying out all the strategies of The Walt Disney Company in Mexico and working together with the regional Senior Management. At the same time, he will be responsible for all actions and integrated businesses that require shared execution by several lines of business simultaneously.

“Allan is a seasoned media and entertainment executive, passionate about the industry, an expert in sales, marketing, and distribution strategies, and a motivated leader with an outstanding track record of managing and developing diverse international teams,” said Lerner. “I am very happy with the incorporation of Allan as the new General Manager of Mexico and I am confident that we will be strengthened on the path that we must continue to travel in this country,” he added.
