Eduardo Lebrija: "I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the incredible progress we have achieved in Latin America"
Eduardo Lebrija, current EVP, Regional Leader, and Chief Commercial Officer for Latin America, has decided to end his 16-year journey with Paramount to pursue new ventures.
“I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the incredible progress we have achieved in Latin America. Sixteen years ago, when I started in our small office in Mexico City, I never imagined the amazing accomplishments we would reach together,” wrote Lebrija in a farewell memo.
“Our journey has been extraordinary, from launching the first Kids’ Choice Awards in Latin America to creating the MTV MIAW concept during a client meeting, and establishing a sports division in the region. As Chief Commercial Officer, my team has overcome challenging negotiations, forged incredible partnerships, and created successful projects, always focused on growing our business. We added value to our offerings by working closely with all our outstanding commercial teams from Telefe and Chilevisión, pay TV, consumer products, live events, and streaming.”
He emphasized that when the time came to evolve and transform the business, they didn’t hesitate. On the international level, following the acquisition of Pluto TV, they were the first to launch it with a very small team and a great deal of passion. “We were also pioneers in paid streaming, being the first to launch our international version of Paramount+ with the most important affiliate partners in Latin America.”
“It has been an incredible experience. I leave with fantastic memories and a heart full of gratitude,” he concluded.
