Pure Flix Familia, the streaming service for Latino audiences recently launched by Great American Media, is expanding its lineup with the debut of Novelitas, a channel dedicated to microdramas with stories rooted in faith, family, love, and Latino culture.

Leading the launch is Alquilé un Novio para Navidad, an original Spanish-language Christmas romantic comedy. Produced in Ecuador by Minivela in collaboration with Red Minds Films, the original series combines romance, Christmas traditions, and themes of faith in a vertical format designed for mobile viewing.

Novelitas launches with three Minivela productions debuting on Pure Flix Familia’s streaming service. The channel brings faith- and family-centered content to the fast-growing microdrama genre.

“Novelitas expands our commitment to Latino families with stories that reflect their culture, their traditions, and their faith,” said Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media. “Through our partnership with Minivela, we’re bringing that commitment to a mobile-first format that gives audiences another way to enjoy uplifting entertainment.”

“Latino culture offers a wealth of stories about love, family, and belonging,” said Manny Ruiz, CEO of Minivela. “With these three productions, we’re bringing those connections to the vertical storytelling format, led by a Christmas romantic comedy that puts faith and family at the center.”
