Telemundo pays tribute to the life of musical icon Juan Gabriel, with the exclusive U.S premiere of {Hasta Que Te Conocí;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?Noti=11446} (13×60), the hit bio-musical series that has captivated audiences across Latin America, beginning Sunday, September 11 at 8pm/7c. Filmed entirely in Mexico by production house BTF, Hasta Que Te Conocí was produced by Somos Productions and distributed by Disney Media Distribution Latin America.Following the unexpected death of the legendary singer, viewers will discover the artist who conquered the world and revolutionized the music industry in this incredible story based on unpublished testimonials that follows over 60 years of history, from his birth to becoming the music star, Juan Gabriel, also known as El Divo de Juarez. In addition to the series, Telemundo will broadcast special programs dedicated exclusively to the legend. Hasta Que Te Conocí, features a stellar cast, including renowned actress Dolores Heredia as Victoria, Juan Gabriels mother. Six actors brings to life Juan Gabriel throughout the four phases of the series such as Julián Román as an adult, Carlos Yorvick in his youth, Alejandro Flores in his adolescence from 13 to 16 years old, and all his childhood performed by Matías del Castillo, Ricardo Zertuche and Nohek Yoali. The series that has become a hit in over 15 countries, begins with the life of Juan Gabriel parents who named him Alberto Aguilera Valadéz, where actor Pablo Azar plays Gabriel (young Juan Gabriels father), who conquers Victoria, alongside Claudia Pineda who plays the young mother.
