The idea is to innovate, “maintaining our essence.” After exploring with different formats, they realized that the audience continues to be attracted by melodrama, “obviously with different stories, with empowered women”.
In Conecta Fiction they have found interesting creators with whom they are interested in co-creating.
What they are aiming for is to make new things, “to co-produce, in different manners, because I think that is where the market is heading now. A whole internal transformation is taking place now, seeking to create the perfect synergy between both companies.”
In this stage they are open to receive new projects, “to receive your stories. There will definitely be space for everyone.” For this, people can send their stories to Mario Muñoz Huertas, who has been working with her for 17 years and is Innovation director: mmunozh@televisa.com.mx.
“Our goa lis to join both screens, Mexico and the US, and lead in both”. The executive commented that they are preparing the novela that will come after Mi Marido Tiene Familia. “It is Mexican; an original story that has to do with this new role man has, of being inside the house”.
