The premiere of Jesús on Univision averaged 753,000 Adults 18-49

Univision’s widely anticipated premiere of Jesús averaged 1.9 million Total Viewers, 753,000 Adults 18-49 and 315,000 Adults 18-34, placing Univision among the top-rated broadcast networks in the 8 pm hour and for the entire night, according to Nielsen.

Jesús positioned Univision as the No. 1 Spanish-language network with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo’s La Sultana among Total Viewers (+79% advantage), and Adults 18-49 (+85% advantage).

The series outperformed Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup (La Sultana, Falsa Identidad and Señora Acero V) among Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Jesús is produced by Brazil’s Record TV in partnership with the production company Casablanca.

Several of the scenes were shot in Morocco, in one of the main film studios worldwide, better known as the Moroccan Hollywood.
