Telemundo’s Hasta Que Te Conocí premiere more than doubles Univision’s La Banda season two opener delivering 2.9M Total Viewers and 1.4M A18-49

Telemundo’s bio-pic series based on the life of musical icon Juan Gabriel, Hasta Que Te Conoci (13×60’), premiered last Sunday to record-breaking audiences.

The series ranked as the highest-rated, scripted weekend premiere in Spanish-language TV in more than five years among Total Viewers (2,913,000) and Adults 18-49 (1,358,000), according to Nielsen.

The series outperformed Univision’s premiere of La Banda season two by +112% and +154%, among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, respectively.

Hasta Que Te Conocí reached a cumulative audience of 4,724,000 Total Viewers and 2,207,000 Adults 18-49.

Produced by Disney Media Distribution Latin America, Somos Productions and IGSFA Management, LLC; and filmed by production house BTF Media Hasta Que Te Conocí follows the success of Telemundo’s innovative bio-musical genre, specifically programmed for the US Hispanic market.

Fueled by the success of Hasta Que Te Conocí and specials that aired before and after the broadcast, the network delivered its best Sunday night performance ever among Total Viewers during 7pm-11pm averaging 2,402,000 Total Viewers shattering Univision by 84% (1,307,000).
