PRODU spoke with Winter Horton, COO of Liberman Broadcasting, during Estrella TV´s Upfront in New York. We have lots of new things coming up this fall, new programming consistent with our strategy where we create and produce our programming inside the United States and we cater specifically to the U.S. Hispanics. One ofthe biggest announcements that Im going to present tonight is the introduction of Myrka Dellanos to our news team. Shell be hosting our newscast later this summer, and into the fall, we will be launching her own show En Exclusiva con Myrka Dellanos, which will be a kind of in-depth show where Myrka will be spending time with the newsmakers of the day. We are looking forward to having Myrka Dellanos on our team, says Horton. Horton commented that Estrella TV is doing great in terms of ratings. We are growing year to year. We launched several new programs very recently, including a great nigh time show called Noches con Platanito, starring Platanito,that is a big hit down in Mexico. We are very proud of the performance of that show. All inall, we are up across key demos throughout the day and the prime time. We are very happy with the performance so far, he added. Horton said Estrella TV has grown its audience and, with this years Upfront, the network is looking to grow its revenues substantially. Mr. Horton has been with Liberman Broadcasting over 16 years.
