City of Men is among the films to air Thursdays in primetime

Cinelatino is celebrating the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio by programming an exciting lineup of Brazilian hit movies every Thursday night in August. “Brazil will be the center of attention this summer, and we want to offer viewers the opportunity to get to know the magnificent country through a cinematic lens. We’ve programmed a variety of our top Brazilian award-winning film and blockbuster hits all month long,” said James McNamara, vice chairman of Hemisphere Media Group, Inc., Cinelatino’s parent company.Among the films to air Thursdays in primetime include: Bruna Surfistinha (Little Surfer Girl); Ciudad de los Hombres (City of Men); Érase Una Vez en Río (Once Upon a Time in Rio); Hasta que la Suerte Nos Separe I & II (Until Luck Separates Us, I & II); El Canto de la Sirena (The Mermaid’s Song) and Presencia de Anita (Anita’s Presence).
