HITN and Mexicanal partner to bring coverage of presidential campaign events to a larger US Hispanic audience

The events will be air simultaneously and in-language, to allow viewers in both networks to have access to the information on a timely manner

HITN, Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, and Mexicanal announced an agreement to air coverage of the political conventions and upcoming presidential debates in Spanish scheduled to take place later in the fall.“With over 27 million Latino eligible voters expected to participate in this election, now more than ever we want to bring this kind of content to our viewers so they can be well informed and working together with HITN will allow us to bring these important events to our viewers,” explained Luis Torres-Bohl, president of Mexicanal Network and parent company Castalia Communications. “HITN-TV’s mission to reach the millions of Spanish speakers in the United States with the most diverse programming offering will be reinforced with this join effort with Mexicanal. We are please to be able to work together to bring this historical and pivotal events that will contribute to shape the course and future of the country,” expressed Eric Turpin, HITN’s general manager.The events will be air simultaneously and in-language, to allow viewers in both networks to have access to the information on a timely manner.
